1.) Khadijah open the back door and go out into the garden. Her mother tell her not to go out alone but she try not to remember that. The wind blow and the trees swayed which caused a coconut to fell off the tree. Khadijah run to the corner of the garden to picked it up and as she bend down she notice something on the fence. It was a snake – long and almost as thick as her wrists! She had see one like this before and her father had tell her it was dangerous. She slowly walk backwards and then screamed, “Snake! Snake!” Her mother come out and take her inside after she check that the snake was not follow her.
2.) My friend was driving really fast. We were quite excited at first and we foolishly encourage him to go even faster. The car engine grew louder and the speedometer show something well over the speed limit. Behind us, a car appear and before we know what was happening, we could saw a flashing blue light. Suddenly our happiness turned into fear. I want my friend to stop but he refuse. He press harder on the accelerator and we continue to speed down the highway. He should have known that his car was not really fast enough to stayed ahead. The gap between the police car and ours gradually reduce and there is nothing we could did to prevented it. My friend realise he has no hope and slow down to stopped at the side of the road. We wait for the policeman to come over to us.
